Consultant – HealthCare / MedTech / Biotech / Digital Health - Executive Advisor, Medicare Hellas SA

Chief Executive Officer in Johnson & Johnson MedTech Hellas as of October 2008 until March 2024. After leaving J&J, he acts as a consultant in the Healthcare industry and lately he serves as an Executive Advisor in Medicare Hellas SA.

He started his career in 1991 as Sales Specialist in Johnson & Johnson Medical and progressed within the organization in different Sales and Marketing positions up to the level of Division Director in J&J Medical. In 1997 he moved to Bausch & Lomb as Regional Director for Greece, Cyprus, Maghreb and Balkans region. He launched the subsidiary in Greece and expanded the business operations in the rest of the countries. In 2003 he moved to Danone Springs of Eden Waters as Managing Director for Greece, Cyprus and South East Europe. He reorganized the Greek company, turning around the business into a highly profitable operation which then divested to the Israel entity. In 2005, he returned to Johnson & Johnson Hellas as Division Director in the Cardiovascular Unit, then as Managing Director of DePuy Hellas Orthopaedics Unit and from 2008 until 2024 he held the position of CEO of J&J Hellas for Greece and Cyprus. Also served in the Regional EMEA Management Board of J&J MedTech.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor Degree in Engineering Management and a Master’s of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri, USA. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program in Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.

During the years he was the Chairman of the DEI Council and ESG Team of J&J Family of companies in Greece, the Chairman of the Medical Devices & Diagnostic Companies Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, member of the Board of Directors of the AmCham, member of the Board of Directors in the Medical Devices & Diagnostic Greek Trade Association, member of the Board of Directors in ACEO (Association of Chief Executive Officers-EASE) and member of the Board of Directors in ΙPE (Greek Sales Institute).
